MAC has five trustees. David Ward, Kate Gray, Pauline Jones, Dave Corrie and Lisa Tilsley. The Trustees meet quarterly and oversee the affairs of the organisation.
David WardDavid Ward

David is a chartered architect and has been a co-director of Triangle Architects, based in Manchester, for over twenty years. Triangle specialises in community regeneration and sustainable development. On a personal note, David has been involved in voluntary projects for thirty-five years, including a period as leader of a housing action group, chair of governors at a sixth form college and trustee of a recycling project. David's particular interest in MAC is the development of the Children's Village.
David WardDavid Ward

Kate has worked in Wythenshawe, South Manchester for 6 years. After a time spent doing Family Support Work for children with special needs she retrained as a Church Minister with special interest in community and creative work. She is involved in a variety of environmental and human rights projects and works with women’s, church and community groups in the UK, Southern Africa and Taiwan. Kate is a Trustee of health and well-being and family centre charities in South Manchester. She has just had her first child and is keen to encourage children's holistic wellbeing within MAC, so they can enjoy life to the full.
Pauline JonesDavid Ward

Pauline is the project leader of the Wythenshawe Child Contact Centre, part of Wythenshawe Community Initiative. Her role is to facilitate contact between absent parents and their children in a safe and caring environment. Pauline has been an elder of St Mark’s church for twenty-three years and is also the church treasurer. She
is a qualified lay preacher. Her interest in MAC began when Joyce came to the church to speak of the plight of the children of Chingola. Since then she has been a member of the committee and also the treasurer.
Dave CorrieDavid Ward

Dave is a full-time care worker with adults and lives in Wythenshawe. He met Joyce Phiri of Lesa Kutemwa several years ago when she was in Manchester and committed himself to an annual sponsored walk for Manchester Aid for Children. Dave has now completed three coast to coast walks of 192 miles, each raising several hundred pounds for MAC and children in Zambia.
Lisa TilsleyLisa Tilsley

Lisa has many broad-ranging and complementary skills which she has used in different areas, including youth work, outdoor education, administration and graphic design. Lisa joined Triangle Architects on a temporary contract in 2007 and volunteered her skills to MAC, becoming a Trustee soon after. She has been a keen fundraiser for over 25 years, is a volunteer for George House Trust, the North West HIV charity, and is currently studying part-time for a Certificate in Counselling. Lisa’s focus in her work for MAC includes youth projects and development, establishing the Kitwe school, coordinating a UK youth visit to Zambia in 2010 and HIV awareness and prevention.
